This is a 2006 Glenrothes, a Speyside single malt bottled independently by North Star Spirits as number 020 in its Cask Series. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 52.1% ABV. Glenrothes stands in the town of Rothes and was founded in 1878. In May 1922 a fire destroyed its Warehouse No. 1, which held more than 2,000 casks, and the burning whisky ran into the Burn of Rothes through the village. The distillery is now owned by the Edrington Group.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
