This is a 9 year old Glenrothes bottled by Dram Mor at 58% ABV from cask 2851. It spent eight years in a refill bourbon cask before four months in a first fill Moscatel wine barrique. The colour is a luminous gold.
The nose pairs vanilla spice from the bourbon cask with fruit from the Moscatel. On the palate, crisp barley and cereal sit alongside green apple, spring garden notes and heather. The finish brings candied orange peel, green tea and dried dark raisins.
