Glenturret Peat Smoked is a 10-year-old single malt from the 2023 release, bottled at 48.4% ABV. The barley is dried with peat, which gives the whisky its smoky profile. It was matured in American and European oak.
The nose runs from smoke and peat to sea salt, with citrus and a hint of vanilla. The palate is robust, with clear smoke alongside caramel sweetness and ripe fruit, plus spice and a touch of oak. The finish is lingering smoke, underlined by a restrained sweetness.
