Glenturret – 10 Years Peat Smoked

Glenturret Peat Smoked is a 10 year old single malt from the Perthshire distillery near Crieff. It is described as both sweet and smoky, with lively citrus and soft peat on the nose, and vanilla, oak, lemon, orange and smouldering embers on the palate. The tasting notes add nougat and peat smoke on the nose, with flamed lemon peel and dark chocolate. The palate has toasted malt and more lemon, alongside singed heather wrapped in campfire embers and oily smoke. The finish is of burnt oak and salted caramel.
