Glenturret 15 Years is a single malt from the Glenturret distillery at Crieff in Perthshire, bottled at 53%. It was matured for 15 years mainly in European oak casks.
The nose brings honey pancakes with raisins, zesty citrus peel and a hint of charred pineapple, followed by oak spice. On the palate, woody vanilla and lemon cake lead, with sultanas and plums behind, then toasted malt and firm oak with cocoa and pepper. The finish carries cinnamon, cloves and layers of charred oak, alongside poached apple and custard.
