This is a peated Glenturret bottled by Caskhound as Ruadh Maor Peatwave. It was distilled on 3 December 2013 and matured throughout in a single Oloroso sherry butt, cask 3045, before bottling on 19 January 2026 at cask strength. 240 bottles were filled, with natural colour and without chill-filtration.
The nose combines malty sweetness, fresh herbs and woodland honey with relaxed smoke, peach jam, orange zest and raisins. The palate is silky and creamy, with ginger, sweet peat smoke, warm sherry, tobacco leaf and toffee. The finish is long, warming and dry, with oak spice, bitter orange, dark chocolate and a touch of heather.
