Glenturret – The Trinity Prowess 33 Years Old

Glenturret The Trinity Prowess is the second release in The Glenturret by Lalique series, a collaboration between the Perthshire distillery and the French crystal maker Lalique. It was created by whisky maker Bob Dalgarno from three casks, two filled in 1987 and one in 1988, and bottled in December 2022 at 33 years old. The whisky combines Mizunara oak, a Japanese wood known for spice and sandalwood notes, with Oloroso sherry casks that add nutty and dried fruit character. The palate shows wood, spice and orange with soft liquorice, then raisins, chocolate and a hint of crème brûlée. The finish brings ginger, rich fruit, vanilla and fresh oak.
