Glenturret – Triple Wood

Glenturret Triple Wood is a single malt from the Perthshire distillery near Crieff. It is matured in a combination of sherry casks made from European and American oak, together with bourbon casks. Spice and vanilla lead its character. The nose is of oaky vanilla and Lotus biscuits, with cinnamon sugar and a touch of tobacco. On the palate, a cigar box and ripe berries move into crystallised ginger and caramel digestive. Plum skin and toasted oak linger on the finish.
