Glenugie – 1959 18 Year Old Cadenhead Dumpy Bottle (70cl)

A Glenugie single malt distilled in 1959 and bottled in June 1977, when it was 18 years old. It was released by Cadenhead in one of the company's dumpy bottles and comes in a 70cl size. The vintage and the bottling date are both recorded, so the whisky can be placed precisely: eighteen years from the 1959 distillation to the 1977 bottling. The dumpy bottle is the shape Cadenhead used for this style of release.
