GlenWyvis Batch 2 is a Highland single malt from the GlenWyvis distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 46.5% ABV. It is matured in first fill Oloroso sherry casks. GlenWyvis was founded in 2015 near Inverness and is wholly community owned. A crowdfunding campaign backed by more than 3,600 supporters paid for the £3.8 million project and brought distilling back to Dingwall after 90 years. The distillery runs entirely off the grid on renewable energy, using local barley, long fermentation and traditional copper stills. The house character is robust, fragrant and fruity, and its first whisky was released at the end of 2021.
