Godet – Osokye Series No.2 Français Single Malt Whisky (50cl, 43%)

This is a French single malt from Godet, the second release in its Osokye series. Osokye is the name of the plot in Lorraine where the barley is grown. The grain is malted locally and distilled in a cognac alembic. The whisky was aged in three types of cask: bourbon, port and cognac. It is bottled at 43% in a 50cl bottle, and the label carries a painting of the harbour of La Rochelle by Joseph Vernet. It is described as floral, with a long and complex finish.
