Godet – Osokye Series No.2 French Single Malt Whisky (50cl, 43%)

This is a French single malt whisky from Godet, the second in its Osokye series, bottled at 43% ABV in a 50cl bottle. Osokye is the name of the plot in Lorraine where the barley is grown. The barley is malted locally and distilled in a cognac alembic. The whisky was then aged in three different casks: bourbon, port and cognac. The front label shows The Harbour of La Rochelle, painted by Joseph Vernet. It is floral, with a long and complex finish.
