Gold Bar Blend 273 is a blended American whiskey from the Joe Montana Collection, made to mark his famous touchdown celebration in Super Bowl XXIV. The number 273 stands for Montana's career touchdown passes. The bottle carries his illustration and signature, with a San Francisco 49ers overstrip. The mash bill combines rye, corn and barley, at roughly 10% rye and 80% corn. The blend begins in red wine barrels from Napa Valley, then is finished in used Cognac barrels with toasted oak staves, which add notes of fruit, deep spice and berries.
