Goldlys Family Reserve is a Belgian single grain whisky from Graanstokerij Filliers, a distillery with a long tradition in genever and other distillates. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 40% ABV.
The whisky was matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon casks and Oloroso sherry casks.
The nose brings light cereal, vanilla, soft caramel and a hint of raisin. The palate is mild and rounded, with sweet cereal, light wood and a gentle sherry sweetness, leading to a short, pleasant finish without pronounced spice.
