Gooderham & Worts Four Grain is a Canadian whisky bottled at 44.4% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It blends four grains, corn, wheat, barley and rye, each distilled and aged separately before blending. All the grain is from Ontario. Wheat, barley and rye are distilled in both pot and column stills, while corn is double distilled in a column still. Ageing takes place in new virgin oak casks and used bourbon barrels. The whisky is made at the Hiram Walker & Sons distillery in Windsor, Ontario, under a name that belongs to a distilling business founded in Toronto in 1832. The nose brings fresh bread, roasted nuts, cinnamon and brown sugar. Caramel, toffee, ginger snap spice and rye lead the palate, and the finish is medium to long, with red apple, barley malt and warm oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
