This is a Speymalt single malt from Gordon & MacPhail, distilled at Macallan in 1997 and bottled in 2023 at 52.5% ABV. It was matured in a refill sherry hogshead, and the cask gave 309 bottles.
The colour is mahogany. The nose has sweet stewed raisins with brown sugar and tangerine peel, the palate hazelnuts, dark chocolate and blackcurrant, and the finish lingers with charred oak.
