Gouden Carolus Folle Blanche 2022 9th Anniversary

A Belgian single malt from Distillery De Molenberg, released as a limited edition for the distillery's 9th anniversary. The name Folle Blanche refers to a grape variety used to make cognac. It nods to the three years the whisky spent in ex-cognac casks, after several years of maturation in ex-bourbon casks and anchor casks, which are casks made to the distillery's own wishes. It is described as a balanced mix of vanilla, wood, a floral hint, honey, leather and fruit.
