The 2024 Pedro from Gouden Carolus, released for the 11th anniversary of the first whisky from Brouwerij & Stokerij Het Anker. It is an edition of 14,500 bottles, bottled at 46% in a 50cl bottle.
The whisky was first matured in a combination of Bourbon and Anker casks, then finished for nearly two years in American oak vermouth casks that previously held Spanish vermouth made from Pedro Ximénez grapes.
It is described as floral, with a light sweetness and a fruity finish.
