Gouden Carolus Pedro is the 11th Anniversary Edition of the whiskies from Het Anker and the former Stokerij De Molenberg, in a 50cl bottle at 46% ABV.
The 2024 edition was matured in a mix of bourbon and Anker casks, then finished in vermouth casks. The Spanish vermouth had first aged in them and was itself made in Ximenez casks. The name Pedro refers to Pedro Ximenez, though these are not sherry casks.
The result is a floral whisky with a lightly sweet taste and a fruity finish.
