This is an Irish single malt from Grace O'Malley, matured for 19 years in total. It spent its first period in American oak and then moved into a still-wet Amarone cask, a full-bodied Italian red wine cask. It comes from Batch No. 1.
The Amarone gives the whisky an especially soft yet fruity aroma. The finish keeps developing in the mouth for several minutes.
