Graham's Vintage Port 2016 comes from W & J Graham's, an independent family port house that was among the first to invest in its own vineyards in Portugal's Douro Valley, in 1890. Today five Symington cousins make the wines personally.
The nose shows black-fruit marmalade and burnt orange alongside plum and dark chocolate. The palate is full-bodied, chewy and powerful, with firm tannin and rich dark fruit. The finish is dry and precise despite the ripeness, with notes of ganache and tar.
