Grant's Family Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky from the family company William Grant & Sons, in a 35cl bottle at 40% ABV. It is built on Girvan grain whisky, distilled at a lower temperature, and blended with a range of single malts. It is matured in three types of wood, hence the Triple Wood name.
The nose has ripe pear, summer fruit and a subtle floral note over a mild maltiness. The palate is rich and silky, with vanilla sweetness, light oak and a hint of malt. The finish is long and smooth, with gentle sweetness and a faint, dry smokiness.
