Green River Full Proof Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 58.7%)

Green River Full Proof is a bourbon from Green River Distilling Co. in Owensboro, Kentucky, bottled at full barrel strength with no water added, in a 750ml bottle. It is a small batch blend of select barrels aged between five and seven years. The mash bill is 70% corn, 21% rye and 9% malted barley. Master Distiller Dan Callaway chooses barrels from the distillery's original tile-built rickhouses. Green River was founded in 1885 and revived in 2020, and this is its first blended full-proof retail release. The nose is cinnamon, dried cherry and light leather. The palate is full and warming, with spice, vanilla, caramel and chocolate-coated peppermints, and the long finish is spicy-sweet with cappuccino foam and cinnamon.
