Green River Full Proof is a barrel-strength Kentucky straight bourbon from Green River Distilling Company in Owensboro, in a 75cl bottle at 58.65% ABV. It is pot-still distilled from a mashbill of 70% corn, 21% rye and 9% malted barley, and matured in the distillery's tile warehouses. It is bottled without dilution or chill filtration.
The nose brings brown sugar, caramel cream, dried apricot and spiced honey, with leather, oak and cherry beneath. The palate is thick and creamy, with caramel fudge, cacao, vanilla, maple and cherry cola, plus cinnamon and black pepper. The finish is long, with maple, dry oak and cinnamon.
