Green River Full Proof Straight Bourbon (58.7%)

Green River Full Proof is a Kentucky straight bourbon from the Green River Distilling Company in Owensboro. It is a small-batch selection of barrels, blended and bottled at barrel strength, 58.7% ABV, without dilution. The mash bill is 70% corn, 21% rye and 9% malted barley. The nose offers toffee, chocolate-coated peppermint, vanilla and seasoned oak, with hints of cinnamon, dried cherry and leather. On the palate, brown sugar and creamy caramel lead, followed by rye spice of cinnamon, allspice and white pepper, with a touch of apricot or cherry and soft oak tannin. The finish is long and warm, with caramel fading into dry oak and gentle pepper.
