Green River Full Proof Wheated Bourbon is a Kentucky straight bourbon distilled and bottled in Owensboro, in a 75cl bottle at 54.95% ABV. Wheat takes the place of rye in a mash bill that also holds corn and malted barley, it is made with a sour mash recipe, and it is not chill-filtered.
The nose brings caramelised sugar, cinnamon, honey-drizzled cornbread, toasted oak and soft vanilla. The palate is full-bodied, with butterscotch, dark cherry, baking spices and roasted nuts. The finish is long and smooth, with toasted wood, cocoa and a hint of peppery heat.
