Green River Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon is made at the Owensboro distillery that began in 1885, now the tenth oldest licensed in Kentucky. It comes in a 750ml bottle.
The recipe is a wheated take on the classic Kentucky mashbill.
The nose brings peach, caramel, apricot and cinnamon. On the palate are toffee, pastry and hazelnut, leading to a smooth, balanced, honeyed finish.
