A single barrel wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Green River Distilling Company in Owensboro, in a 750ml bottle. It comes from one cask and is bottled at natural barrel strength with no water added.
The mashbill is 70% Kentucky-grown corn, 21% wheat and 9% malted barley, and the bourbon is aged for a minimum of five years.
The nose is toasted oak and vanilla bean with caramel, baking spice, ripe apricot and tangerine peel. The palate is sweet with caramel and toffee, then dark fruit, pastry, toasted nuts, cinnamon and orange peel. The finish is long and warm, with wood spice, sweet bread and vanilla cream.
