Green River – US Army 250th Anniversary Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 55.5%)

This Green River straight bourbon was created in partnership with the US Army to mark its 250th anniversary. It is a limited edition made from a small batch of hand-selected barrels aged 4 to 6 years. It was bottled at 111.1 proof, or 55.55% ABV, in honour of Veterans Day (11/11), in a 75cl-style 750 ml bottle. Green River Distilling Co. in Owensboro, Kentucky, traces its name back to 1885. Cinnamon, dried cherry and light leather show on the nose, and the palate offers warming spice, vanilla and caramel.
