Green Spot Montelena (70cl, 46%)

Green Spot Montelena is an Irish whiskey from County Cork, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is distilled from malted and unmalted barley and made up of whiskeys between seven and ten years old. Those whiskeys then spent a further twelve months in French oak Zinfandel casks from Chateau Montelena, a Napa Valley winery. The link between Cork and California comes from an Irishman named Barrett, who bought the struggling winery in the 1970s. It follows the range of wood finishes that Green Spot began in 2015.
