Green Spot Single Pot Still (70cl, 40%)

Green Spot is a single pot still Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. The name comes from the Mitchell family, who marked casks of different ages with a daub of coloured paint. There was once a Blue Spot, a Red Spot and a Yellow Spot too, but Green Spot proved the most popular and is one of the few whiskey bonder brands still around. Single pot still whiskey is made from a mash of malted and unmalted barley and triple distilled in copper pot stills. The style is described as full and complex in flavour, with a creamy mouthfeel.
