Green Spot Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey (70cl, 40%)

Green Spot is a single pot still Irish whiskey in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 40% ABV. It is made from malted and unmalted barley and carries no age statement. The whiskeys in it are aged between 7 and 10 years, matured in new and refill bourbon casks as well as sherry casks. It was originally produced exclusively for the Mitchell family, who began trading in 1805 on Grafton Street in Dublin as wine merchants and confectioners. They moved into whiskey bonding in 1887. The nose has aromatic oils and spices, orchard fruits and barley over toasted wood. The palate is full and spicy, with a hint of cloves, green apple sweetness and toasted oak. The finish brings lingering spice and barley.
