Gun Fighter American Rye is a two-year-old rye from Colorado, in a 70cl bottle at 50% ABV. The mash bill is 60 percent rye, 34 percent corn and 6 percent barley.
The spirit was distilled at OZ Tyler Distillery in Kentucky, then finished in Italian Del Professore vermouth casks in Colorado.
Juicy berries and vermouth with its spice notes show on the nose. The palate offers baking spices, light black pepper, fresh berries and dried fruit with brown sugar, and dark sweet cherries, with plenty of vermouth character. The finish is fruity, with stronger vermouth and oak notes.
