Hankey Bannister De Luxe is a 21 year old blended Scotch whisky, blended and bottled by Hankey Bannister & Co in Leith, Scotland. It comes in a ceramic bottle holding 75cl at 43% ABV.
The nose is very aromatic, with complex nuts, raisins and vanilla-scented oak, plus subtle sweet spices and caramelised citrus. The palate is silky and creamy, with soft toffee, sweet vanilla, rich Christmas cake fruit and an elegant background of bitter dark chocolate. The finish is long, warm and smooth, with a pronounced malty character, cocoa and a light touch of toasted wood.
