This is Hankey Bannister Original, a blended Scotch whisky from the 1980s. It has a clear, golden amber colour. Honeyed toffee apple leads the nose, with vanilla, caramel and butterscotch behind it. The palate brings together honey, butterscotch, vanilla fudge, sweet corn and caramel, with hints of toffee. The finish has a touch of burnt malt, light buttery corn and a hint of smoke.
