This is Hankey Bannister Original, a blended Scotch whisky from the 1980s. It pours a clear, golden amber.
The nose is honeyed, with toffee apple, vanilla, caramel and butterscotch. On the palate, honey and butterscotch sit alongside vanilla fudge, sweet corn and caramel, with hints of toffee. The finish is slightly of burnt malt, with light, buttery corn and a little smoke.
