Hatozaki Pure Malt Whisky (70cl)

Hatozaki Pure Malt is a Japanese blended malt in a 70cl bottle. It is a vatting of malt whiskies only, aged in imported bourbon and sherry casks and in native Mizunara oak barrels. The name comes from the Hatozaki Lighthouse, which has stood in Akashi port near the Kaikyo Distillery since 1620 and is the oldest stone-built lighthouse in Japan. The colour is a very light straw. The palate shows sweet cereals and malty dried fruit, and the finish has a light touch of smoke and honey.
