Hautes Glaces – XO#4 Organic Single Estate Single Malt (50cl)

Hautes Glaces XO#4 is the fourth release of the XO, an organic single estate single malt in a 50cl bottle. It is made by blending the distillery's oldest vintages, using barley from the estate's historic vineyards. The nose opens with wild cherry, dried rose and toasted hazelnut, followed by roasted cocoa. The palate is fresh and almost floral at first, then full and soft, with red fruits, dark chocolate, black tea, dried fig and Agen prune. The finish is long, saline and lightly tannic, with rose returning alongside tonka bean and a little black tea bitterness.
