This is a 10 year old Hazelburn from Springbank in Campbeltown, distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2025 at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Hazelburn is the triple-distilled malt made at Springbank, and it is made without peat.
The whisky matured entirely in bourbon casks, which the notes link to its vanilla and fruit character.
On the nose it is sweet and tropical, with baked pineapple, lemon sorbet, honeycomb and dried orange peel. The palate brings green apple, a light floral note, pastel de nata and vanilla cream. The finish is subtly earthy, with salted caramel, ginger, toasted coconut and a mineral edge.
