Hazelburn 10 Years is a Campbeltown single malt distilled at Springbank, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is triple distilled, which is unusual in Scotland, where most malts are distilled twice, and it matured entirely in American ex-bourbon casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose has caramelised apple, honey and stewed pear with a touch of vanilla. On the palate vanilla is very present, with a hint of chocolate and fruity notes of apple and pear. The finish is long and complex, with an oily texture.
