Hazelburn 7 Years Old is the 2026 release of the unpeated, triple-distilled malt made at Springbank in Campbeltown. It was matured entirely in Oloroso sherry casks, with no other cask types and no finish.
The whisky was distilled in June 2018 and bottled in March 2026 at 47.9% ABV, without chill-filtering or added colour. Only 9,000 bottles were produced.
The nose is sweet and intense, with maraschino cherries, fudge, molasses and dates, plus creamy brandy butter. On the palate come brown sugar, ginger, raisins and redcurrant jelly. The finish is long and sweet, with sticky toffee pudding, blackcurrants, herbs and a hint of tarragon.
