This is an 8 year old Hazelburn from Springbank, bottled at a cask strength of 53% exclusively for the Japanese market and Shinanoya. It was distilled in 2001 and bottled in 2010. It comes from a single sherry cask, number 19, chosen by Frank McHardy and Gavin McLachlan of Springbank. Hazelburn is the triple-distilled, unpeated malt that Springbank has made since 1997, taking its name from a Campbeltown distillery that no longer exists.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
