Hazelburn Rundlets & Kilderkins 10 Year Old Limited Edition (70cl, 50.1%)

Hazelburn Rundlets & Kilderkins is a 10 year old single malt from the Springbank distillery in Campbeltown. It is unpeated and triple distilled, bottled at a cask strength of 50.1% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was distilled in 2003 and matured entirely in small bourbon oak casks of 68 litres, rundlets and kilderkins. It was bottled in 2014 as a limited release of 12,000 bottles. The nose is chocolate, honeycomb and dried fruit with a malty, creamy touch. The palate brings spice, sweets, butterscotch, marzipan and sugared almonds. The finish is long, robust and off-dry, earthy with sweet and salty notes.
