Heartwood Age Of Decadence is a cask strength vatted malt from Tasmania, bottled at 64.2% ABV in a 500ml bottle. It combines Old Kempton malt (65%) with Fanny's Bay malt (35%), all matured in ex-bourbon American oak.
It was bottled in April 2021, with an outturn of 187 individually numbered bottles.
In the glass it is described as showing plenty of vanilla and caramel, with butterscotch, toasted oak, leather and almond milk, and very little alcohol burn despite the strength.
