Beagle 11 is a cask strength vatted malt from Heartwood, bottled in June 2022 at 56.2% ABV in a 500ml bottle. It is built on a muscat base, with influence from port, sherry and peat, and was released from North Hobart.
Around 207 individually numbered bottles were filled.
The nose is super-sweet, with butterscotch and muscat dessert notes. The palate brings dark fruits, sticky spice and a gentle thread of peat smoke, which carries into a long finish.
