Heartwood – The Beagle 10 Cask Strength Vatted Malt Whisky (50cl, 60.2%)

This is a cask strength vatted malt from Heartwood, vatted from nine casks across six Tasmanian distilleries. The casks held sherry, apera, tawny, muscat, tokay, bourbon and peated spirit. It was bottled in August 2021 at 60.2% ABV, in a 50cl bottle. Only 204 individually numbered bottles were filled. The label follows a pandemic-era take on human evolution, drawing on Darwin. The whisky is described as having layered fortified sweetness, bright spice and a thread of smoke, with a long finish.
