Heaven Hill – Bottled-in-Bond Double Mash 9 Year Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Heaven Hill Double Mash is a nine-year-old Kentucky straight bourbon, and the first Bottled-in-Bond bourbon to bring two separate mash bills together in one bottle. Two-thirds is a traditional mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley; one-third is a wheated mash bill of 68% corn, 20% wheat and 12% malted barley. Both components were distilled in the same season and aged nine years, then bottled at 100 proof, 50% ABV, in a 750ml bottle. The official notes describe toasted oak, honey and a hint of white pepper on the nose, and a bright, rich palate of honey and citrus oil.
