Heaven's Door – Double Barrel (75cl)

Heaven's Door Double Barrel is a Tennessee whisky in a 75cl bottle. It blends three whiskies: two from Tennessee with a traditional bourbon mash bill, and a straight rye. Each is aged separately for at least six years in new oak and freshly emptied bourbon barrels. They are then married and aged for a further year in heavily charred virgin American oak. Maple charcoal mellowing, known as the Lincoln County Process, follows distillation. The nose offers maple, milled grain, light nuttiness, dried berries, vanilla custard and toasted oak. The palate brings toasted caramel, dark cherry, Meyer lemon, dried apricot, coconut, orange oils and cocoa.
