Henry McKenna 10 Year Old Single Barrel Bottled-in-Bond Bourbon (75cl, 50%)

Henry McKenna Single Barrel is a Kentucky straight bourbon aged for ten years and bottled in bond at 50% ABV. It is made by Heaven Hill in Bardstown, and each bottle is drawn from an individual barrel. Bottled in bond means the whisky comes from one distillery and one distilling season, is aged for at least four years and is bottled at 100 proof. Here the ageing runs to a full ten years, which gives a deep amber colour. The nose is aged oak with caramel and vanilla. The palate is rich and complex, and the finish is long and warming.
