This is the seventh edition of the 1st Special Forces Group Whiskey from Heritage Distilling, made in honour of the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne).
The unit traces its lineage to the First Special Service Force of the Second World War and to Detachment 101 of the Office of Strategic Services. It was activated in Okinawa, Japan, on 24 June 1957, and its motto is "First in Asia".
The group saw combat in Vietnam, Laos, Thailand and Cambodia, and deployed into Afghanistan after the September 11 attacks.
